Proprietor Robert Bruce has over 27 years experience in the stereo and home theater business.

His experience includes working at Beatty Electronics in the early 80's. They were Kansas City's first high-end stereo store. He spent 13 years at Dallas Audio Concepts, the most respected high-end stereo and home theater store in North Texas. His success there led him to return to Kansas City to open s o u n d f X and bring the same approach to design, sales and installation of systems that are critically and personally satisfying.

Mr. Bruce’s partner, Joe Cirese, is an accomplished contractor who brings a unique level of service to s o u n d f X. Design, layout, build, installation and calibration can all be handled inhouse. This allows control of all critical aspects of the system, from start to finish. This ensures that the system that s o u n d f X installs will yield the best performance possible.

The goal of any system should be to captivate and involve the listener or viewer. The accomplishment of this takes much more than slapping some recommended components together and calling it a system.
